Since June 2001 I have
been the pastor of the Evangelical Fellowship Chapel in Liberty Corner, New
Jersey. I am originally from a small town in Kentucky where I grew up on our
family farm. I left Kentucky to attend Bible College at Moody Bible Institute in
Chicago, Illinois. After graduation from Moody I went on to attend seminary at
Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois. While attending
Bible College and seminary I served as youth pastor of Living Water Chinese
Christian Fellowship for nearly five years.
I met my wife, Terri, just prior to attending Moody. During my second year there we were married on December 17, 1994. Since then the Lord has blessed us four beautiful girls (Cassidy, Ashley, and Audry, and Mandy). It is such a joy to be a parent and to see children grow in the ways of the Lord!
It is also my hope to see the Lord’s Church here at the Evangelical Fellowship Chapel to also continue to grow in the ways of the Lord. I believe that a Christian’s desire for growth should be rooted in the delight of the Lord. This is a delight in who He is and in all that He has done by His glorious grace through Jesus Christ. Therefore, His glory should always be our joy. This joy will be expressed in our worshipful obedience to Him and in the proclamation of the good news of Jesus Christ so that others may come to delight in Him.
Soli Deo Gloria
